Talia Bennett - Miss Universe New Zealand 2012

Talia was Miss New Zealand 2011 1st runner-up. Priyani Puketapu was the winner.

Back in 2012, she was left as 1st runner-up for a second time while Avianca Böhm surprisingly won the contest.

Some months later, Böhm who is not a New Zealand citizen, was stripped of her crown and Talia Bennett finally took over the title.
